The Gwinnett County Police Department is the second largest police agency in Georgia and provides full law enforcement services to more than 1,001,757 residents in six precincts encompassing an area of 437 square miles. The Police Headquarters itself is located in Lawrenceville, GA.

The department has a strong relationship with the diverse Gwinnett community though excellent service with integrity, and fairness. GCPD strengthens and builds these relationships through police-community communication, community interaction, departmental transparency and respect.
Free Seminars
Under the Gwinnett County Police Department Community Affairs Section, the department offers outreach programs that create opportunities for fostering trust, as well as educating citizens about personal safety, crime issues and fraud, and crime prevention, both residential and commercial.
The Community Affairs Section sponsors a variety of free seminars. Specialized officers will give presentations at your home or business, homeowners association meetings, and other organizational gatherings. There are also specific crime prevention and safety topics focused on children and teens.
There must be at least 10 participants to schedule an officer to speak to your group.
Your place of residence, organization, or business must be in Gwinnett County.
